Born
in New York City, Susan Copley
lives and works in Buffalo, N.Y. and has
maintained a studio on Bryant Street in
downtown Buffalo for many years.
She has exhibited
nationally and her works
arerepresented
in the permanent collections
of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, the Burchfield-
Penney Art Center, the Binghamton Center for the
Arts, and the Castellani Museum of Art as well as
numerous corporate and private collections.

"My passion to
paint and make
art began when I attended
Saturday morning art classes
for children at the Brooklyn
Museum. I studied painting
at Pratt Institute in New York
for two years and completed
my Bachelors and Masters
degrees in painting with a
minor in architecture
at the
University of Buffalo."
